This applies to Android users who cannot open the app after updating to Toucan App version 2.4.5 for Android:
If the app will not go past the loading screen with the logo, here is a quick solution. Before doing this, make sure that you know your Toucan ID login and password, as you will be logged out of the app. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Please follow these steps to resolve:
- Go to Android settings
Locate the Toucan app in the list of apps on your device and select it
Tap “Storage and Cache”
Tap “Clear App Data”
Please Note: This will log you out of the app and may delete downloaded footage that are saved to the app Albums. All video footage on the cloud will be untouched, and your cameras will still be there. Once you do this, however, you will not need to do it again. The app will operate normally after this.
