Start Protecting Your Home In Seconds

Easily manage your Toucan security cameras and video doorbells in one place. With the Toucan Smart Home App, you can view live footage, receive alerts, and stay connected to your home anytime, anywhere.

How to Pair Your Toucan Smart Home App

Follow the steps below to connect your Toucan device and start monitoring your home.

Before You Start
Make sure your device is powered on and fully charged.
Connect your phone to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and stay close to your router during setup.
Download & Log In
Download the Toucan Smart Home App and create an account or log in.
Add Your Device
Tap the “+” icon in the top right corner and select your device.
Name Your Device
Name your device. You can choose pre-named or customize it.
Connect to Wi-Fi
Select your Wi-Fi network, enter your password, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Finalize Device Setup
Step 1:
Press and hold the camera SET button until you hear “Device is initializing,” then tap Next on your phone.

Step 2:
Depending on your camera type:

Bluetooth Camera:
Tap Next to continue. The camera will say “Set up is in progress,” followed by “Your camera is now set up.” Tap Finished to complete setup.

QR Code Camera:
Hold your phone 6–9 inches in front of the camera to scan the QR code. The camera will say “Set up is in progress,” followed by “Your camera is now set up.” Tap Finished to complete setup.
Having Trouble Connecting?
If setup fails after “Set up is in progress,” check the following:

• Your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network only
• Your Wi-Fi password is correct. Try removing special characters if needed.
• You are within Wi-Fi range
• For Bluetooth cameras, ensure Bluetooth is turned on

If you are stuck on the network setup screen, delete and reinstall the Toucan Smart Home App, and allow all permissions when prompted.

Dashboard Overview

The dashboard is your home base.

Here, you can:

  • View all connected devices in one place
  • Check real-time status of your cameras and doorbells
  • Quickly access live view with one tap

👉 Tip: Name your devices, such as Front Door, Backyard, or Living Room, to stay organized.

Live View & Camera Control

Tap any device to open Live View.

From here, you can:

  • Watch live video anytime
  • Use two-way talk to speak with visitors
  • Turn on siren or alert sounds if needed
  • Take snapshots or record video

👉 This is your main control center for real-time monitoring.

Motion Alerts & Notifications

Toucan keeps you informed with instant alerts.

When motion is detected, you can:

  • Receive push notifications on your phone
  • Tap to view the event immediately
  • Customize alert settings for your preference

Event History & Playback

Your app automatically saves recent activity.

You can:

  • Review recorded motion events
  • Replay video clips anytime
  • Download or save important footage

In Settings, you can:
